Air Conditioning Servicing
& Re-Charging
Vehicle air conditioning systems are designed to perform two basic functions, to cool the passenger compartment air to a lower temperature below the ambient (outside) air and to de-humidify the passenger compartment air.
As the owner of a vehicle fitted with air conditioning, you will appreciate the many benefits of a correctly functioning system; sitting in traffic jams or travelling at high speeds, with the windows closed, makes for a comfortable and safer journey in any situation.
To ensure you maintain the benefits of a correctly functioning system we recommend your system is inspected and serviced every eighteen months
Why have your aircon serviced?
Not cold enough?
Windows not demisting?
Runny nose, headache?
Strange noises when A/C is on?
Your car air con system can naturally lose up to 15% of it's refrigerant every year.
A poorly performing car air conditioning system can cause a build up of fungus, bacteria and other microbes growing inside the evaporator core and vent’s causing a nasty odour and sometimes you can suffer an allergic reaction to these micro pores.
A poor aircon system can increase your fuel costs as the air conditioning pump need’s to work harder.
If you leave A/C operating with low refrigerant levels more serious problems can occur, lubricant circulation may be affected and air or moisture may enter the system resulting in major Component and system failure.
